FGCU head swimming and diving coach and four-time CCSA Coach of the Year Neal Studd has announced the dates for his 2013 Swim Camps. Studd and his staff will hold three sessions: session 1: June 8 - June 13 Intensive Swim Camp, session 2: June 17 - June 21 for all campers, session 3: June 22 - June 23 for all campers at the FGCU Aquatic Center.

The 2013 Atlantic Sun Championship is set to commence on May 22-26 from the campus of Stetson in DeLand, Fla., and having secured the No. 2 seed in the league tournament the FGCU baseball team is set to face No. 7 seed Kennesaw State on Wednesday, May 22 beginning at 5 p.m.

Completing the Atlantic Sun Conference weekend sweep of in-state rival Stetson, the FGCU baseball wrapped up the 2013 regular season with a convincing 15-2 victory on Senior Day at Swanson Stadium on Saturday afternoon and, in doing so, secured the No. 2 seed in the upcoming A-Sun Championship.

Entering the third and final round of the NCAA Tallahassee Regional trailing by five strokes for the individual spot, FGCU freshman Edward Figueroa knew he needed a special round. With five birdies in his first eight holes of the day, Figueroa nearly pulled off the comeback, but fell just short of advancing to the NCAA Championships after a final round four-under 68 at Golden Eagle Golf & Country Club.

With Atlantic Sun Championship seedings still up for grabs as the final weekend of league plays out, the FGCU baseball team continued to help its cause on Friday evening at Swanson Stadium, earning a series win over the in-state rival Stetson with a 9-6 game two victory.
