Kathryn Smith is going into her fourth year as the Administrative Support Assistant to the coaches in Baseball, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Golf, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, Swimming and Diving and Softball. She is also the assistant for the Facilities and Operations staff who oversee the operation of the Outdoor Sports Complex.

A native of Oxford, Mississippi, Kathryn went to Ole Miss and in her career, has worked in the Southeastern Conference (Ole Miss), the WAC and C-USA (University of Tulsa), and now, the Atlantic Sun Conference (FGCU). Kathryn also brings experience from working in the Athletics Administration areas of Media Relations, Tickets/Business office, Purchasing and Marketing, Sports Medicine, and Sports Information.

When she’s not supporting the athletes at FGCU, Kathryn enjoys going to the beach, reading, walking, traveling, decorating, cooking, and gardening and her church activities. She is an alumni member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority (Ole Miss) and has enjoyed getting to know the local chapter members at FGCU. Kathryn has been active with philanthropic organizations (ESA), and church organizations in service to her community, everywhere she has lived.

Kathryn resides in Ft. Myers.
