Sophomore right-hander Ricky Knapp tossed his third complete-game shutout of the season in the opener and freshman Zack Tillery sent the FGCU baseball team into Sunday’s series finale in style with a walk-off RBI single in game two to complete an Atlantic Sun doubleheader sweep of Belmont at Swanson Stadium. FGCU took the opener 1-0 behind Knapp, and followed with a 5-4 victory in game two.

Due to rain in the Fort Myers, Fla. area, Friday's Atlantic Sun Conference series opener between the FGCU baseball team and Belmont has been postponed. The two teams will now meet in a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 12 p.m.

Currently in a share of sixth place in the Atlantic Sun Conference standings, the FGCU baseball team returns to Swanson Stadium for a critical three-game series with Belmont, beginning on Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Due to rain in the Boca Raton, Fla. area, the Tuesday evening contest between the FGCU baseball team and FAU has been cancelled. The contest will not be made up.

With just two non-conference contests remaining on this year’s schedule, the FGCU baseball team will travel to Boca Raton, Fla. on Tuesday to close the home-and-home series with FAU. First pitch in the contest is slated for 6:30 p.m. at FAU Stadium.

Less than 24 hours after scoring a season-high eight runs, the FGCU baseball team was kept off the scoreboard on Sunday thanks to a complete game performance from Lipscomb right-hander Josh Catham in a 11-0 Atlantic Sun series loss on Sunday at Dugan Field.
