FGCU Baseball Announces Winter Camp Dates

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Three-time Atlantic Sun Coach of the Year Dave Tollett and the FGCU baseball staff have announced the dates for a pair of winter camp sessions. The Eagle Baseball High School Showcase Camp at FGCU will take place December 3rd-4th and the Eagle Baseball Holiday Prospect ID Skills Camp at FGCU will follow on December 27th -28th.

The Eagle Baseball High School Showcase Camp at FGCU will be held on December 3rd-4th in downtown Fort Myers at the Boston Red Sox Minor League 5-Plex for campers in grades 9-12. The cost of the Eagle Baseball High School Showcase Camp is $250, however individuals who sign up before October 1st receive a discount rate of $225. The final camp will be held in two sessions on December 27th and 28th at Swanson Stadium on FGCU’s campus for campers in grades 7th-12th. The cost of the Eagle Baseball Holiday Prospect ID Skills Camp at FGCU is $100 per session, or $180 for both sessions.

The Eagle Baseball High School Showcase Camp at FGCU has been developed as a highly instructional baseball experience. The camp features a staff of college coaches dedicated to teaching the skills necessary to reach the collegiate playing level. The camp provides an environment that promotes discipline and hard work. Each player will have a better understanding of every college that is represented at the Eagle Baseball High School Showcase Camp at FGCU.

With a focus on athletes who want to improve their pitching, catching, infield and outfield abilities, the Eagle Baseball Holiday Prospect ID Skills Camp at FGCU is designed for players who want to take their game to the next level.

Players can learn the latest in hitting techniques during the two-day Eagle Baseball Advanced Offensive ID Skills Camp. Instructors leading this camp will focus on preparing hitters to compete at a high level. Campers will learn the basics of being a successful hitter with lessons on mechanics of the swing, hitting and bunting drills, base-running lessons, developing a plan, and mental skills to take to each at bat.
