In the first game Junior hurler Eric Jordan threw six innings, giving up two hits, and one earned run while striking out six.
Pete Stelzer came in the seventh inning, striking out one to end the game, and seal the win.
Offensively, the Eagles pounded out eleven hits on the day as David Cox led the way with a 3-for-4 performance, slugging three doubles, scoring three runs, and driving in a pair.
Chris Brown went 1-for-4, but drove in three runs, while Junior third baseman Chad Kennedy earned 3 RBI's.
David Alexander scored a pair of runs and Travis Cunningham scored a run and knocked in a run.
The Eagles improved to 7-6 overall.
In the second game of the double header the Eagles bats calmed a bit, but Cox and Brown started where they left off.
Cox went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI's while Brown went 2-for-3 with one run scored and one run batted in.
Freshman Justin Miller looked impressive going five innings, giving up four hits, and striking out four. Miller earns his first career win as an Eagle.
Freshman Ace, Jason Short came in the sixth inning and looked dominating as he only surrendered one run, and struck out four in two innings of work.
Junior Billy Corrigan was the other standout on offense as he went 1-for-4 driving in a pair of runs. Corrigan also had a nice defensive game as he threw out a pair of runners stealing.
The Eagles improve to 8-6, and will battle nationally ranked Embry Riddle in a three game series this Friday and Saturday at Datyona Beach.
