FGCU Baseball Now 17th in NCBWA Poll

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Florida Gulf Coast University baseball team remains among the top ranked teams in the nation according to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. After dropping two of three games to Barry this past weekend, the Eagles fell five spots to No. 17. The Eagles are ranked fourth in the South Region by the NCBWA, trailing Tampa, Catawba and Miles. All three of those teams are also in the national rankings. Tampa and Catawba stil hold the first and third spots eespectively. Miles moved from No. 25 to No. 16. The Eagles travel to Lynn Tuesday for their only game this week.
