FORT MYERS, Fla. – Tim Roberson was named to the Brooks Wallace National Allstar Lineup for the fourth week on the 2009 season.
Tim Roberson led the FGCU offense last week, hitting .538 as the Eagles went 4-1 with a win against Penn State and a three-game sweep over North Florida. The sophomore pounded out five home runs while driving in 16 runs for the Eagles offense. Roberson was responsible for 21 of the Eagles 50 runs last week and leads the league in hits (32), home runs (seven) and RBI (31).
The College Baseball Foundation and Diamond Sports are proud to announce this week’s National All-Star Lineup. This week the lineup features Coach Gene Depew from Bucknell and Andrew Brouse also from Bucknell. Coach Depew earned his 500th win while Brouse finished the week with 17 RBI. Strasburg and Berry join the lineup again this week with outstanding pitching performances.
