Final Day of the 2012 Atlantic Sun Tournament to be Aired Live on ESPN3

DeLAND, Fla. – Fans who are unable to make the trek north for the 2012 Atlantic Sun Baseball Championships in DeLand, Fla. can view all the action from the tournament’s final day live on, beginning with the fourth-seeded FGCU baseball team taking on third-seeded Kennesaw State on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.

The winner of the contest will advance to take on top-seeded Belmont 30 minutes after the completion of the game. Both games on tomorrow will feature Paul Crane (P-B-P) and David Dellucci (Analyst) on the call.

Entering the tournament as the No. 4 seed, the Eagles opened the tournament with a pair of victories over Kennesaw State, 12-4, and Mercer in a 4-3 walk-off thriller. As the field’s only unbeaten team entering Friday, the Green and Blue dropped a back-and-forth contest with top-seeded Belmont, 6-4, leveling the playing field with two games remaining in the tournament.

FGCU (26-30) is 4-0 against Kennesaw State (33-24) this season after sweeping the regular season series and picking up the opening-round victory on Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile, the Green and Blue took two or three from Belmont (38-22) in the regular season, dropping the series finale and falling in the Eagles’ third A-Sun Tournament game on Friday.
