Quarterfinalist for the Brooke Wallace Shortstop of the Year Award ... an Atlantic Sun All-Conference first team performer ... started in 57 contests at shortstop … led the team with 256 at-bats and 18 stolen bases … held a .359 batting average and a .435 on-base percentage, both of which ranked third on the club … his 92 hits and 62 runs scored were each good for second on the team … the 92 hits were the second-most in program single-season history …. finished the year with 17 doubles, two triples and one home run to go along with 34 RBI … recorded 94 putouts and a team-high 185 assists for a fielding percentage of .962 … had a hit in 48 of 57 games, including 29 multi-hit outings … batted leadoff 57 times, leading FGCU to a 37-20 record … had a 13-game hit streak during the year, which ranked as the second-longest by any player that season … hit .431 (31-72) with runners in scoring position … upped his batting average to .379 over 30-game A-Sun campaign … had a hit in 24 of 29 A-Sun games played … delivered five or more hits in five A-Sun series … scored in each of the Eagles’ first seven contests and recorded at least one hit in 23 of the first 24 games … tallied a hit in 13 straight contests beginning at USC Upstate (Mar. 12) and ending at Oklahoma State (Mar. 31), recording doubles in each of the last five games of the streak … ended the season on a seven-game hit streak … lone home run came at Florida (Mar. 24) … swiped five bases in a doubleheader with Sacred Heart (Feb. 27), including a season-best four steals in game one … registered a season-best four RBI in a 4-for-4 day with two runs scored against Lipscomb (April 18) … helped the Eagles claim all 10 A-Sun Conference series on the season and secure their third consecutive A-Sun regular season title.

As A Sophomore (2009)
Started all 54 games at shortstop … earned Atlantic Sun All-Conference second team honors … finished second on the team with a .356 batting average, 44 runs, 80 hits, nine doubles, one triple, one home run and 36 RBI … recorded team-best 30 multi-hit games and seven multi-RBI contests … delivered a hit in 41 of 54 games … reached base in all but eight games… also worked 27 walks for a .430 on-base percentage … hit .386 against left-handers and .376 with runners on base … raised batting average to .369 (48-130) in A-Sun action after recording a hit in 24 of 30 games … delivered five or more hits in five A-Sun series … started on a seven-game hit streak … hit over .400 through the first month of the season… delivered 16 multi-hit games over the first 21 contests … went 4-for-9 with three RBI over two games against Boston College (Mar. 3-4) … scored four runs and drove in another six over three-game set against Campbell (Mar. 6-7) in which he went 5-for-13 … strung together three straight two-hit games during series against Jacksonville (Mar. 20-22) … went 3-for-4 with a pair of stolen bases at UCF (Apr. 15) in the middle of a season-long eight-game hit streak … turned in a huge series at ETSU (May 1-2), going 7-for-18 with five runs scored and five RBI … all five RBI against the Bucs came in the second game when he went 4-for-5 with a double, home run and career-high five RBI … just four games later he set a career-best for hits with a 5-for-7 day at Kennesaw State (May 9) that included a triple … had seven hits in the series at Kennesaw State.

Appeared in 52 games at shortstop with 51 starts … batted .251with 38 runs scored, nine doubles, and 22 RBI ... delivered a hit in 30 games, including nine multi-hit performances … hit .385 (20-52) with runners in scoring position leading to 14 two-out RBI … had five multi-RBI games … reached base in 49 of 51 starts … closed the year on a season-best nine-game hit streak … led the team with 12 hit-by-pitches and 27 walks ... opened career with 4-for-5 day and season-high four RBI against Southeastern (Feb. 22) … hit his first career home run against No. 1 Miami (Apr. 8) … fell a home run shy of the cycle in series finale at Lipscomb (Apr. 12), going 3-for-4 with a double and triple.
