As A Redshirt Sophomore (2010)
One of four regular starters for the Eagles … made 20 appearances, including eight starts ... ranked third on the team in wins with a 5-4 record and two saves … posted a 5.29 ERA which was third best for starters … struck out 66 batters, recording at least two strikeouts in 15 games in his 68 innings of work … limited left-handed batters to a .230 average (17-74), while averaging nearly a strikeout per inning (8.7) … went five or more innings in four starts, including three outings of 100+ pitches … won his first two starts of the season, combining to go 13 innings with 18 strikeouts and just two earned runs … opened the year with eight strikeouts and no walks over six innings in a win against Temple (Feb. 20) … set career-bests for innings (7.0) and strikeouts (10) in his next start against Sacred Heart en route to improving to 2-0 … earned a no-decision at Oklahoma State (Mar. 31) after striking out six over 5.2 innings … mad three straight extended relief appearances, going a combined 8.1 scoreless innings with seven strikeouts, two walks and five hits … credited with the win at USF (Apr. 27) after 2.2 shutout innings … started at No. 24 Clemson (May 4) … final five appearances all came out of the pen … picked up fifth win of the season at FAU (May 11) after striking out eight over six solid innings of relief … picked up two saves in A-Sun action, closing the final two innings during a win at Jacksonville (May15) and vs. UNF (May 21) … didn’t allow run or walk in either outing …helped the Eagles claim all 10 A-Sun Conference series on the season and secure their third consecutive A-Sun regular season title.
As A Sophomore (2009)
Utilized Medical Redshirt due to an injury after appearing in six games, making two starts … had a 3-1 record, one save and a solid 2.11 ERA … struck out 25 over 21.1 innings pitched … limited opposing batters to a .160 average … walked just nine to finish with a 2.8 strikeout/walk ratio … struck out a season-best six batters twice with both coming in relief … held opponent to three hits or less in every appearance … earned the win in each of his first three appearances … tossed two scoreless relief innings against Central Michigan (Feb. 19) to pick up the win … kept ERA at 0.00 4.1 scoreless frames against Towson (Feb. 27), picking up second win in as many appearances … earned first start of the season against Boston College (Mar. 4), tossing 95 pitches en route to going seven strong innings with four strikeouts and just three hits allow to improve to 3-0 … struck out six over the final three innings against Campbell (Mar. 7) to pick up the save.
As A Freshman (2008)
Appeared in six games, primarily as a mid-week starter … finished with 21.1 innings, 0-3 record and 5.91 ERA … recorded 17 strikeouts … went six or more innings in two of five starts … tough-luck loser vs. Bowling Green (Mar. 6), allowing three runs over seven innings with five strikeouts and one walk … earned a no-decision at Bethune-Cookman (Mar. 18) after striking out six in 6.2 innings of work that featured 106 pitches.
2007 graduate of Trinity Preparatory where he played under Coach Dale Salapa … named 1st team All-State and second team All-Central Florida.
