Summer of 2011
Ranked as the 14th-best prospect in the Northwoods League by Baseball America … earned a spot in the Northwoods League All-Star game with the North Division squad … went 1-for-5 with an RBI in the All-Star game … played second straight summer with the Willmar Stingers … produced a .298 batting average with 39 runs scored, 70 hits, seven doubles, seven home runs and 35 RBI … finished 13th in the Northwoods League in hits, tied for 14th in home runs and 15th in RBI … had a hit in 49 of 64 games, including 17 multi-hit performances … had multi-RBI six times … ripped off three hit streaks of at least seven games.
As A Freshman (2011)

Summer of 2010
Played for the Willmar Stingers of the Northwoods League … hit .291 over 42 games before reporting to FGCU for the start of school … also made seven relief appearances on the mound, working 6.1 innings … had 43 hits, 25 runs scored, 10 doubles, one triple, three home runs and 20 RBI … recorded a hit in 29 games … eight multi-hit performances were highlighted by a pair of four-hit games … turned in a nine-game hit streak from the end of the June and beginning of July … drove in a season-best four runs during a 4-for-6 day at the dish that included three runs scored, a double and first home run against Brainerd.
Drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 15th round of the 2010 MLB First-Year Player Draft … rated No. 167 on Baseball America’s Top 200 prospects list prior to the 2010 MLB Draft … hit over .330 in each his four seasons at Tavares High School and had 16 career home runs … played for the North squad in the 2010 Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) All-Star Classic … also named to the All-Central Florida Defensive team … hit a career-best .444 as a senior with four home runs, 20 RBI and nine stolen bases over 22 games … 13 extra-bases hits helped him build a .926 slugging percentage while he was also issued 32 walks for a .633 on-base percentage … batted .380 as a junior in 2009 with a career-high seven home runs.
