Junior Led the team in ERA (2.88) and appearances (26)…Among NCAA Division II leaders in ERA, Saves, Strikeouts per nine innings and wins…Struck out 66 batters in 59.1 innings while walking only 16…Limited hitters to .222 batting average…Went 7-2 on the year, working mostly in relief…Picked up first save of the season against eventual national champion (Tampa), working 3.1 innings while surrendering no hits and allowing one walk while striking out a pair of batters.

Sophomore - Made 22 appearances mostly in relief action, finished with 4-1 record with an ERA of 3.90 in 57 innings, struck out 51 batters and recorded one save.

Freshman - Appeared in 14 games on the mound, including one start...Posted a 2-1 record with four saves and 2.70 ERA...Pitched 20 innings with 15 strikeouts and just four walks...Also made four appearances at third base, going 0-1 with a sacrifice fly and RBI.

Prep - 2004 graduate of Tampa Jesuit, where he played for his father John. Named first-team all-district and first-team all-area as a senior in 2004...Named to second-team all-state, first-team all-area and first-team all-district as a junior in 2003.

Personal - Majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Sports Management...Favorite sports moment is playing at Tropicana Field in the Summer League Championship...His favorite athlete is Scott Kazmir...Favorite sport to watch is NFL football...His favorite sports movie is Cinderella Man...one person J.J. would like to meet is The Dali Lama...One thing that no one knows about him is that he likes ballet...His biggest accomplishment in life so far in running a 6 minute mile...His career aspiration is to get his degree and be successful...He is most thankful for his parents, and the fact that he gets a chance to play baseball everyday...He is the son of John and Lisa Crumbley.
