Sophomore: Earned A-Sun All-Academic honors...Started 52 games, and finished third in hitting on the team with a .352 average… Recorded a career best 74 hits, seven doubles, and 44 RBI… Had 18 multiple hit games and 12 multiple RBI games… Reached base in all but three of the 52 games he played in... Finished the season on a 16-game hitting streak… Batting .389 with 28 hits, three doubles and 19 RBI during the streak.

Freshman: Appeared in 49 games while starting 47 of them for the Eagles in 2008… Finished third on the team in batting average, hitting .346… Had 71 hits and set an FGCU record with a 20-game hitting streak… Scored 44 runs, walked 18 times, and had six doubles… Earned Second team A-Sun and All- Freshman A-Sun honors.

High School: Graduated in top 5% of class...Member of National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society…Received Palm Central High School’s Athletic/Academic Award.
