The FGCU/Lee County Aquatics Complex opened in 2004 and serves as the home to the five time CCSA Champion FGCU Women’s Swimming and Diving Team. Built on the south end of the Athletic Complex, the Aquatics Complex features two heated outdoor pools. The 50 meter competition pool has a movable bulkhead that converts the pool into a 25-yard, 16-lane lap pool. In addition to the competition pool, the Aquatics center also features a recreational 25 yard, 8-lane pool, which has four diving boards and a diving well for FGCU’s diving team.
In addition to the pool facilities, the Aquatics Center offers shower facilities, three locker rooms and an assortment of aquatic training and exercise equipment.
The Aquatics Complex is a public facility, open year round to faculty, staff, students and general public. With certified lifeguards on duty, it is a fun, friendly, safe environment for all and offers affordable memberships for the whole family.
