Located next to Alico Arena and the North Lake Residence Halls, the FGCU Tennis Complex serves as the home to the Eagles tennis program. The complex, which opened in 2000, features 12 lighted courts with movable courtside bleachers. In 2004 and 2005, the FGCU Tennis Complex was home to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s regional and national championships for NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and National Junior College Athletic Association championships in men’s, women’s, and doubles championships. In 2005, it also served as the district championship site for the Florida High School Athletic Association.

During the winter of 2011-12, the courts were resurfaced to the current Green and Blue color scheme to not only show off the Eagles colors, but also improve playability. As excitement and support of the Tennis teams continues to grow, more planned facility improvements are on the horizon. Within the next few years there are plans to replace all the fencing around the courts, add FGCU Court Logos, add custom windscreen graphics, and add additional shade over the seating areas for the fans.

The highlight of the FGCU Tennis Complex came on February 2, 2013 when the Men’s Tennis team hosted SMU for a night match in front of a record crowd of 689 people.
