CSS / ESPN3 - Why is the game blacked out?
CSS or Comcast Sports South is only available to Comcast subscribers in the Southeast Region of the United States. WatchESPN and ESPN3 will simulcast these games, however if you are located in Florida and do not get CSS as part of your cable television package you won’t be able to watch them due to broadcast rights. The same goes for satellite television subscribers. You’ll likely see the FGCU game, but when you attempt to watch the channel the game will be unavailable or ‘blacked out in your area.’

This blackout is completely out of the hands of both the Atlantic Sun Conference and Florida Gulf Coast University. FGCU will make every attempt to provide live streaming audio of all road games broadcast on CSS or subject to blackout in Southwest Florida.
