With both programs coming off successful runs into March Madness, FGCU men's and women's basketball season tickets for the 2012-13 campaign are now on sale at the FGCU ticket office. FGCU was one of just 15 schools out of 344 in Division I that saw its men's and women's program advance to its respective Conference Tournament championship game.

FGCU men's basketball early signee DaJuan Graf will get a chance to continue his terrific senior season on Saturday, April 14, when he takes part in the Jordan Brand Classic Regional Game playing for the West Team at Time Warner Cable Arena. Jordan Brand, a division of NIKE, Inc., has announced the rosters for the Jordan Brand Classic's Regional and National games.

Coming off a successful weekend at the Atlantic Sun Tournament for both teams, the FGCU Athletic Department announced the dates for its men’s and women’s basketball postseason banquets on Wednesday. The women's banquet will recognize their NCAA Tournament campaign on Wednesday, April 4, while the men will celebrate their best season in Division I history on Tuesday, April 10.

Behind four starters in double figures and a strong second half, top-seeded Belmont fought back from a 13-point deficit in the first half to end sixth-seeded FGCU's magical run towards an Atlantic Sun Championship with an 83-69 win Saturday night in the tournament finale at the University Center.

Sixth-seeded FGCU will look to complete its magical run through the Atlantic Sun Tournament on Saturday night when it takes on top-seeded and reigning conference champ Belmont in the title game. FGCU became the sixth team in the 33-year history of the A-Sun Tournament to advance to the championship game in its first appearance and will now look to be just the fourth team to win the tournament in its first try.

Fueled by arguably its best defensive performance of the season, the sixth-seeded FGCU men's basketball team rallied from six points down late in the second half to stun second-seeded Mercer, 62-58, on its home court to advance to the Atlantic Sun Championship Saturday night shown live on ESPN2 at 7 p.m.

Sixth-seeded FGCU will look to become the sixth team in the 33-year history of the Atlantic Sun Tournament to make the championship game in its first-ever conference postseason appearance when it takes on second-seeded Mercer on Friday night in the semifinals. The game will be televised live on Comcast Sports South.
