Men's Basketball Concludes Nine-Game Road Trip

FORT MYERS, Fla., - FGCU concludes it stretch of nine games away from Alico Arena with a trip to Indianapolis to play IUPUI, on Monday night December 17 at the IUPUI Gymnasium at 7:00 pm.

The Jaguars, currently 7-2 and on a six-game winning streak, were selected as the preseason favorite to win the Summit League. Junior guard George Hill was tabbed as preseason player of the year and has not disappointed thus far. The 6-2 Indianapolis, Ind., native leads the team in scoring at 20.8 ppg. And is shooting .576 from the floor and is hitting over half his shots from downtown as well.

Delvin Franklin (Houston, Texas) is coming off of a career-high 14 points in the Eagles 66-63 loss at Army on Thursday night. Franklin connected on four three-pointers in the first half to lead the team in scoring in the contest. Rob Quaintaince (Glendale, Az.) played all 40 minutes and added 12 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals in the contest.
