FGCU men's basketball head coach Joe Dooley continues to bolster an already high-scoring roster, adding Rice transfer Julian DeBose, who averaged 10.4 points per game for the Owls in 2012-13. DeBose signed a grant-in aid on Monday and will have two years of eligibility with the Eagles after sitting out the 2013-14 season.

Leading Georgetown by seven points with under two minutes to play in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in Philadelphia, FGCU sophomore guard Brett Comer flipped a pass over his right shoulder to the front of the rim to a streaking Chase Fieler for a polarizing alley-oop that brought the City of Brotherly Love crowd out of their seats and had TV talent Kevin Harlan and Reggie Miller screaming at the top of their lungs. Dunk City was born.
