FORT MYERS, Fla., - The FGCU men’s basketball team continues its nine game road trip tomorrow when they take on Army. The game can be seen live on for $9.95.

The Knights are currently 4-5 and are in the second game of a five-game home-stand. Army features one of the nation’s premier scorers in Jarell Brown. The 6-2 senior from Cleveland is averaging 21.6 points per game and has hit 40 threes and is second on the team in rebounding at 4.9 per game. He was named pre-season All-Patriot League and has been named player of the week twice this year in the league. Army is coming off of a four-point 58-54 loss to Quinnipac on Sunday.

FGCU is close to wrapping up the longest stretch of games away from Alico Arena. The Eagles are 2-5 so far on a nine game stretch away from Alico. The Eagles played their home opener against Drexel on November 14 and do not return to Alico Arena for a home game until December 22. In their first year in the A-Sun, FGCU has already established itself as one of the top rebounding teams in the conference. FGCU is second in rebound margin (+0.9) and is limiting foes to just 34.4 rebounds per game. Landon Adler (Decatur, Ind.) and Adam Liddell (Auburn, Ind.) lead the team on the glass averaging 8.4 and 5.2 rebounds per game respectively. Both players rank among the A-Sun’s individual leaders in rebounding.

Army and FGCU are meeting for the first time. This year, the Patriot League has a 2-0 record against the Atlantic Sun. Cornell defeated Kennesaw State 81-53 while American knocked off Jacksonville 52-50 last week.

The Eagles wrap up their road swing on Monday December 17 when they face IUPUI at 7:00 pm in Indianapolis before returning home to face #18 Butler on December 22.
