Chambers led the Eagles in assists with 81
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Reggie Chambers (Miramar, Fla.) was named to the 2008-09 Atlantic Sun Men's Basketball All-Freshmen team, the conference announced Tuesday. Chambers averaged 8.6 points per game on the season, but improved that to 10.8 points per game in conference play. Reggie also averaged 2.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game, and led the Eagles in assists with 81 on the year. Chambers was also the only freshman to win a Player of the Week honor in the Atlantic Sun this season.
Reggie is joined on the All-Freshmen team by De'Marion Gordon (USC Upstate), Lorne Merthie (Campbell), Kurtis Woods (Kennesaw State), and Brian Wright (Lipscomb).
