Nebraska (2005-2007): As a Sophomore, appeared in 18 games as a sophomore at Nebraska for the 17-14 Cornhuskers…Marks knocked down 60.0% of his field goal attempts and averaged 2.0 points per game and just over one rebound per contest…He averaged just over seven minutes per contest...As a Freshman, provided valuable minutes as a reserve and played in 24 games during his rookie season…With his tremendous wingspan and athleticism, Marks added great depth on the wing and averaged 1.0 points and 0.9 rebounds per contest while hitting 50.0 percent (9-of-18) from the floor and 5-of-7 (71.4 percent) from the charity stripe…He also had three blocked shots and four steals.
High School: Marks averaged 10 points, eight rebounds and five blocks per game as a senior at Dwyer High School…Playing for Coach Fred Ross, Marks helped Dwyer to a 28-5 record as a senior and its second straight Class 5A state title…Marks finished his career as the school's all-time leader in blocks with 275…Marks earned All-Conference honors in 2005 and was selected first-team All-State by the coaches association and third-team All-State, named first-team all-county by the Palm Beach Post and Sun Sentinel, and was the winner of the FHSAA dunk contest...Marks averaged 12 points, six rebounds and five blocked shots for Dwyer as a junior…He helped Dwyer to a 25-3 record in 2004 and the Class 5A state title.
