High School: A four year starter on the varsity basketball team…Broke the Tennessee state game scoring record for a freshman in a varsity game when with 44 points against conference rival Ezell Harding…Led the state of Tennessee in three pointers with 102, also establishing the single season record for CPA…Had his single game career high as a junior when he scored 46 points…Led CPA to a 31-4 record and the schools first trip to the TSSAA 2A state tournament in his junior season...Scored 27 points in the Sectional game against Creekwood High to help his team advance...Finished his career with 2092 points establishing a new CPA career scoring record and the only player in school history to eclipse the 2000 point mark…Established new career school records for Assists with 504, three pointers made with 236 and free throws made with 438…Averaged 16.4 points per game with a shooting percentage of 46.7, 3.94 assists, and 2.1 steals in his high school career…Served as team captain for CPA as a sophomore, junior and senior…Named to the All District and All Region teams three straight years, during that time he was also voted the District MVP, as well as the District Tournament MVP…Selected and competed in the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association East / West All Star game during his senior year.
