Sophomore: Earned A-Sun All-Academic honors...Appeared in 31 games, while starting 4 for the Eagles in his sophomore campaign… A defensive specialist for the Eagles, Lutkenhaus averaged 13.1 minutes per game while guarding the opposing team’s top scorer in most situations…Had 12 steals and 44 rebounds on the year...Scored three points at Kansas (11/18/08)...Scored three points vs. NCCU (11/20/08)...Scored four points and grabbed a pair of rebounds vs. Johnson & Wales (12/14/08)...Made his first start at Butler (12/20/08)...Grabbed four rebounds at Lipscomb (1/3/09)...Scored a career-high 12 points at Campbell (1/28/09).

Freshman: Appeared in 29 games as a freshman, averaging 1.3 points per game and 9.7 minutes per contest...Scored a career-high nine points in a game which FGCU rallied from a 20 point deficit to force overtime...Logged 22 minutes in that game and went 5-6 from the free-throw line. 

High School: Attended LaBelle High School…Scored over 1500 points in his prep career and shot over 51.0% from the three-point line…He pulled down 672 rebounds in his career and was named 1st Team All-Southwest Florida and 3rd Team All-State during his senior season…2nd team All Area as a junior…3rd team All Area as a Sophomore…Three-time MVP in basketball at Labelle and also was a two-time MVP for Labelle’s football team.

Personal: Hometown is LaBelle, Florida…Son of Kevin and Beth Lutkenhaus…Has not declared a major…He graduated #10 in his class…Favorite sport moment was winning football district and scoring over 1,500 points in basketball…Chose FGCU because it’s a program heading in the right direction and he wanted to be a part of it, and loved the facilities, coaching staff, and players.
