Traveled to China with Team Sports Reach, a Christian Sports Ministry that was founded in 1986 … played five games against college teams and Pro B squads … averaged 22.4 points, 7.0 assists and 2.4 steals per game while shooting 53 percent (48-91) from the field and 44 percent (10-23) from beyond the arc … played with FGCU teammate Anthony Banks.
As A Freshman (2009-10)
Played in all 29 games, making seven straight starts to end the year … averaged 3.6 points, 2.3 assists and 1.3 rebounds per game … ranked second on the team with 67 assists and 28 steals … played 16.6 minutes per game, highlighted by 13 games of 20-plus minutes … passed out a team season-high 10 assists at Kennesaw State (Jan. 30) … one of eight Atlantic un players to reach double-digit assists in a game in 2009-10 … produced eight games of four or more assists … made 10 three-pointers … led the team in assists 10 times … had a season-high four steals twice and six games with multi-thefts … had a solid all-around game at SMU (Nov. 21) with six points, first two career three-pointers, six assists and four rebounds … reached double figures with 10 points on 4-of-6 from the field in 22 minutes at Longwood (Dec. 5) … hit 2-of-4 from three-point range for eight points at Campbell (Jan. 10) … averaged 4.0 assists per game over the final 10 contests … went for eight points, 10 assists, a season-high five rebounds and four steals at Kennesaw State … scored nine points in 15 minutes at Mercer (Feb. 1) … equaled season-high of four steals in first career start against East Tennessee State (Feb. 4) … played an average of 27.1 minutes over seven straight starts.
A four-year starter and three-time captain at Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA) … finished his career with 2,092 points, establishing a new CPA career scoring record and is the only player in school history to eclipse the 2,000-point mark … set new career school records for assists with 504, three-pointers made with 236 and free throws made with 438 … averaged 16.4 points, 3.9 assists and 2.1 steals per game over his high school career while shooting 47 percent … named to the All-District and All-Region teams three straight years during which he was also voted the District MVP, as well as the District Tournament MVP… selected and competed in the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association East / West All-Star game following his senior year … led the state of Tennessee in three pointers with 102, also establishing the single-season record for CPA … had his single-game career-high as a junior when he scored 46 points … led CPA to a 31-4 record and the school’s first trip to the TSSAA 2A State Tournament in his junior season ... scored 27 points in the Sectional game against Creekwood High to help his team advance … broke the Tennessee state game scoring record for a freshman in a varsity game with 44 points against conference rival Ezell Harding.
