Men's Cross Country Records Top Five Finish

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida Gulf Coast University Men’s cross-country team recorded their first top-five finish of the year at the FSU Invitational.

UNF won the event with a team score of 68, the Eagles 103 team score earned the 5th place finish.

Mike Harney led the Eagles with a 12th place finish and time of 27:24.15. Ian McParland’s 27:44.62 was good for a 23rd place finish. Noe Pena, Josh Brooks and Kyle Brunette rounded out the Eagles top five. Pena posted a time of 28:20.48 while Brooks and Brunette placed 37th and 38th respectively with times of 28:41.93 and 28:44.35.

Next week, the men's and women's Florida Gulf Coast cross country teams will travel to Pensacola to compete in one of the West Florida Invitational on Saturday September 19th at 7:30am.
