Men's Cross Country Places 16th at Disney Classic

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – The FGCU Men’s Cross Country team took 16th place out of the 38 participating schools at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic on Saturday.  Kyle Brunette paced the Eagles with a 49th place finish (27:02.90) while Joshua Brooks came in 88th with a time of 27:53.40.  Windsor (Ontario) won the team competition with 2 runners in the top 3 and 6 runners in the top 12.  Dave Weston of Windsor won the individual title with a time of 25:01.40, finishing just 1.4 seconds ahead of the University of Florida’s Anthony Morales.

 

The Eagles will be back in action this Friday at 5:10 PM as they take part in the Stetson Hatter Invitational in DeLand, Fla.
