Men's Cross Country Places 4th at Sodexho Stetson Hatter Invitational

DELAND, Fla. – The Eagles wrapped up their regular season with a solid 4th place finish in the Sodexho Stetson Hatter Invitational.  Kyle Brunette led the way with a 28:12 (13th) & Joshua Brooks was not far behind with a 28:15 (15th). Richard Black (30:06, 32nd) and Hugo Gijon (30:41, 39th) also cracked the top 40 for the Eagles.

Embry-Riddle won the team competition with runners finishing 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th and 10th.  Taylor Reeves of Florida Atlantic University was the top individual finisher with a time of 26:17.  Fellow A-Sun member Jacksonville came in 13th, while the host school Stetson took 9th.

The Eagles will have next weekend off before heading to Macon, Georgia for the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships, which will be held on November 1st.  The men’s race is scheduled for 10:00 AM.
