Led by its only under-par round of the tournament courtesy of Mike Andre, the FGCU men's golf team concluded the FAU Slomin Autism Invite in 7th place despite bettering its score each round, concluding with Sunday's 290 total from the par-71 North Course at The Fountains Country Club.

NAPLES, Fla. -- The FGCU men's golf team overcame windy conditions to conclude the Talis Park Collegiate Challenge with a fourth-place finish. The Eagles carded rounds of 301, 297 and 304 for a total of 902, just one stroke behind third place and 12 strokes out of second place.

Fueled by one of the best second rounds in the field, the FGCU men's golf team overcame windy conditions and finished day one of the Talis Park Collegiate Challenge hosted by Ball State University in fifth place following rounds of 301 and 297 for a 598 total, just five shots out of second place.
