Eagles Drop to 20th After Second Round

ALLENDALE, Mich., FGCU's men's golf team dropped to 20th after shooting +35 in the second round of the NCAA Division II Championship. The Eagles shoddier performance in the second round dropped them three strokes behind Le Moyne College.
FGCU shot +35 in the second round and sit in 20th after day two of the three day event. Michael Hart led the Eagles with a 76. Hart is +13 for the tournament and is tied for 63rd with teammates Kyle Henderson who shot +11, and Robert Taylor who shot +8 in round two. Steven Taylor is +26 after the second round after shooting a 84. Alister Munro is +25 after shooting a 82.
Barry, the leader once again after day two shot a +13 297 and has a five stroke lead over Florida Southern. FGCU's future Atlantic Sun rival South Carolina-Upstate is now tied for third with Columbus State University at +25.
Round three of the NCAA Division II Men's Championship will resume tomorrow morning.
