FORT MYERS, Fla. - FGCU Men's golf traveled to San Antonio, Texas this past weekend and came away with a third place finish. The Eagles shot a three-round score of 909 (310-307-292). Only Sam Houston State University (904) and Louisiana-LaFayette (907) finished ahead of the Eagles.

The best Eagle performer on the weekend was sophomore Dan Mazziotta who finished tied for 7th (eight over par) with a three-round score of 224 (80-72-72). Josh Leppo also had a solid tournament turning in a three-round score of 226 (74-77-75).

The Eagles will be back in action when they start their spring schedule on February 2, 2009 when they travel to Gainesville, Florida.
