FORT MYERS, Fla. – After a solid freshman season, Brandon Pena was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

Pena, competed in 20 rounds of golf as a true freshman. He ranked second on the team with an average score of 74.25 and a low round of 66. His best finish came at the Mission Inn Collegiate Classic, where he finished seventh with a three-round score of 216.

The FGCU men’s Golf team recently completed their inaugural Atlantic Sun Championship tournament in fifth place with a three-round score of 882 (290-289-303).
