At the 2007 Bethune-Cookman Spring Invitational hosted by Bethune-Cookman, the FGCU men's golf squad had four golfers finish in the top-ten and took the team title in the first tournament of the spring season.
2/14/2008 FGCU Athletics Announces the Hiring of Two New Coaches
Florida Gulf Coast University Athletics Director Carl McAloose announced today that Terry Jo Myers and Jennifer Magley will join the athletics staff on July 1, 2008. Myers has been named Director of Golf Operations/Head Men's and Women's Coach, while Magley will be the Head Women's Tennis Coach and Assistant Academic Advisor for the Eagles.

The Florida Gulf Coast University men's and women's golf teams hosted the third annual Ben Adams Memorial Scholarship Fund Eagle Scramble Pro-Am on Monday, December 10, 2007. The event, which was held at Miromar Lakes Beach Golf Club in Fort Myers, Fla., featured instruction from FGCU's head coach Dr. Jim Suttie and PGA golf greats Paul Azinger and John Daly.
