The Florida Gulf Coast University men's golf team won the College Preview tournament at Doral Resort & Spa in Miami on Sunday.
The Eagles finished with an 18-stroke victory, adding a shot to their lead built following the first two rounds on Saturday.
"That's the lowest we've ever been on the road," assistant coach J.P. Meyer said. "It's a great victory."
Sophomore Joey Lamielle also won the event with an 8-under-par 210 total, capping it off with a 72 to edge teammate Chris Trout. Trout, a senior, had a 75 and was two strokes behind.
Senior Justin McCarraher had a 72 and tied for eighth.
David Steele had a 74 and Drew Pierson had a 76 to round out the scores. The men and Eagle women play in Nova Southeastern's tournament on Sunday and Monday in Fort Lauderdale.
