Men's Golf Competes in Rollins College Invitational

OCOEE, Fla.- The Florida Gulf Coast University men’s golf team competed in the Rollins College Invitational placing 10th overall with a score of 905. Lynn University finished first with a score of 861.

The top finisher for the Eagles was Freshman Kyle Henderson (Clermont, Fla.) who tied for 7th with a three round score of 218. Senior Drew Pierson (Lockport, Ill.) shot a 73 in the first round and the third round to give him a final score of 223 and placing him 25th overall. Junior Joe Hayes (Walton, Ky.) tied for 47th with a score of 233. Freshman Jim Ellis (McMurray, Pa.) tied for 51st with a score of 235. Junior Alister Munro (Holland) placed 55th overall and shot a 236.

The Eagles have closed the fall season. They open the spring season in the Matlock Invitational on February 13-14 in Lakeland, Fla.
