Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. – The FGCU men’s golf team concluded round one at the Mission Inn Intercollegiate Tournament in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. on Friday afternoon. The Eagles sit atop the team leaderboard and Junior Daniel Mazziotta leads the field heading into day two.

As a team, FGCU leads the tournament with a first-round score of 285 and Mazziotta (Fort Myers, Fla.) is the top individual after carding a first-round 68.

The Eagles have been paired with Rollins College on day two of the tournament with an 8:40 a.m. tee time on Saturday morning.
