Following a year-long rise that started with a run at the USSDA U-17/18 National Championship with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, followed by an A-Sun regular season and tournament crown with the Eagles and completed with a tryout for Canada's U-20 National Team, FGCU freshman center back Daniel Stanese has signed a professional contract to play in Germany’s top tier Bundesliga for FC Nuremberg.

In a vote by the league’s fans, FGCU men's soccer sophomore Santiago Echeverri has been named the Atlantic Sun’s CRONS Achiever Award winner for the month of November after providing two game-winning goals that helped send the Eagles to their second straight NCAA Tournament.
