The Bucs (5-8-1, 1-5-1 A-Sun) had a couple chances in the first half, but were outshot by the Camels 5-3 in the half. The game remained scoreless at the half as neither team was able to get on the board.

The goal was the first of Sheriff‘s collegiate career.

The Eagles would put the game out of reach in the 72nd minute when Alex Cooper (DeLand, Fla.) took control of the ball on the right side of the box and played a shot that was deflected off of a Spartan defender. The ball found the feet of Gill who put the shot into the net for the 3-0 lead. The Eagles added to their lead with two seconds remaining when Ryan Fifi (Port of Spain, Trinidad) lifted a shot over the outstretched arms of the Upstate keeper for the 4-0 final margin.
