FORT MYERS, Fla. – With the recent signing of four decorated NLI’s for the 2011-12 season, the FGCU men’s soccer team was recognized by for having a talented incoming class.

Representing the incoming recruiting class, the newest additions to the Eagles include midfielders Tomas Granitto (Weston, Fla./Cypress Bay HS) and Yianni Sarris (Mentor, Ohio/St. Ignatius HS), goalkeeper Nathan Ingham (Ontario, Canada/Keswick HS), and forward Xavier Silva (Boca Raton, Fla./North Broward Prep).

“The Eagles picked up two solid attackers from the high-octane Weston FC squad of the Development Academy. At the rate that team scores goals, signing a Weston FC player is a good investment. Xavier Silva is a good threat up top while Granitto could pay dividends in the middle of the field. Sarris is a midfielder, and Ingham a goalkeeper from Canada.” –
