Coach Hare is entering his second season as a men's soccer assistant coach at FGCU. 

Before coming to FGCU, he spent two seasons in the A-10 Conference with the University of Massachusetts as an assistant coach. His responsibilities included working with the Mintutemen in all aspects of recruiting, practice organization and camp management.

After high school Hare was recruited to play soccer at the University of Connecticut and lettered for two years before transferring to Rider University in 1996. A three-year standout at Rider from 1996-99, the Princeton, N.J. native will assist the FGCU in all facets of training, development, recruiting, and daily operations.

At Rider University, Hare started 63 games helping the Broncs to two Div. I NCAA Tournament berths (1997, 1998) and two MAAC Conference titles. He was twice named to the All-MAAC Team. In 1998 he was honored as a member of the ALL-MAAC Tournament Team.

After graduating from Rider University, he played professionally for two seasons with the Hershey Wildcats (1999) and with the New Jersey Stallions (1999-00).  In 1999, Hare had a unique opportunity to train and play with Leyton Orient of the Professional English League II in England.  

Hare is a USSF licensed coach, and holds both his NSCAA National License and Advanced National License, and is a certified personal trainer.  Hare is also be the director of training for Gulf Coast Soccer Academy.
