Sophomore: Competed in nine matches and started four in 2009... Recorded a shot on goal against Jacksonville (10/4/09)... Played a season high 60 minutes vs. Belmont (10/9/09).
Freshman: Named to the “100 Freshmen to Keep an Eye on in 2008” list by College Soccer News...Started in all 18 games for the Eagles...Helped anchor a strong Eagle defense...Made collegiate debut in 2-1 loss at Ohio State (8/30/08)...Finished freshman campaign with one assist and three shots...Recorded an assist in a 3-1 win over East Tennessee State (10/31/08).
High School: Led Varela High School to two consecutive state championships his junior and senior year...Named to the NSCAA Boys High School All-American team and participated in Adidas ESP 2005-2007...ESP All-Star in 2007...Member of the ODP State Team for three years, Y-League ODP National Select Team, First Team All Dade 2008, Cagliari Calcio Strike Force, and Miami FC Kendall, which is one of the premier programs in the country...Traveled to Germany with the Y-League National Select team...Also traveled to Italy to train with Cagliari Calcio.
