Men's Tennis slides by Tars 5-4

By Kathryn Hueber FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Gulf Coast University men’s tennis team picks up their third consecutive victory with a 5-4 win over No. 12 Rollins College Sunday morning at the FGCU Tennis Complex. Edson Lima (Brasilia, Brazil) garnered two wins for the Eagles. Lima picked up victories in his No. 6 match against Rollins' Albin Hubscher and paired up with Danny Lee (Naples, FL) to defeat Michael Schwartz and Qi-hao Tan 8-2 in doubles play. Two players for the Eagles advanced their overall record for this year to 15-0. Senior Juan Carlos Osorio (Quito, Ecuador), who is currently ranked #2 in the country, and freshmen Edson Lima (Brasilia, Brazil) both improved their record in singles play with wins at No. 1 and No. 6 singles respectively FGCU (15-3) will travel to Miami Shores, FL to face Barry University (11-4) Sunday at 11 a.m.
