TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The FGCU men’s tennis team fell to 0-3 on Saturday morning after being swept out of Tallahassee by the Florida A&M Rattlers. FAMU swept all three doubles matches to take an early 1-0 lead in the dual match, and then proceeded to win all six singles matches without dropping a set in any match. Danny Lee played a strong singles match at #1, falling to Simbarashe Happy 6-4, 6-4, but that was the closest any Eagle could get.
FGCU will be back in action at 10:00AM on Saturday, February 14th, as they travel to DeLand to take on A-Sun rival and 64th-ranked Stetson in their first conference match of the season. The next home match for the Eagles is slated for February 20th at 2:00PM against in-state rival Florida Atlantic.
