FORT MYERS, Fla. – Set to host its first-ever night match, the FGCU men’s tennis team is looking forward to face Atlantic Sun rival Kennesaw State on Thursday, Mar. 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the A-Sun home opener at the FGCU Tennis Complex.
The Eagles (2-3) are looking to begin conference season with an exclamation point as they have two non-conference wins against Georgia Southern (W, 5-2) and Bethune-Cookman (W, 5-2). FGCU hopes to secure its first-ever win to open conference play as the Green and Blue are 0-4 in conference openers since 2008.

Weber. “Kennesaw has put together a great season and it is going to be a really tough test for us to start out conference season. With this being a night match it will add a whole new element to the match and hopefully it will provide an electric atmosphere for the guys to compete in.”
