Junior: He did not record a record during the 2008 season. He will return for the 2009 season and will compete for a spot in the eagle’s top 6 positions.

Sophomore: Went 8-6 in singles play…Played 13 matches at the #6 position, going 8-5…Went 11-4 in doubles…Teamed with Alberto Gutierrez to go 5-2 at the #3 doubles position…Posted a perfect 4-0 mark with Edson Lima at the #3 doubles position.

Freshman: Competed in the Florida Collegiate One-on-One Doubles Championships in September, going 0-2 in One-on-One doubles and 0-2 in traditional singles...Went 0-1 in Division II Wilson/ITA Southeast Region Men's Singles Championships...Went 1-1 in Division II Wilson/ITA Southeast Region Men's Doubles Championships along with partner Chris Caswell...Went undefeated (6-0) in dual-match singles mostly at the No. 6 position...Finished with 3-1 dual-match doubles record.

High School: 2005 graduate of Newsome High of Hillsborough County...Played four years under coach Jim Govreau...Finished third in the FSHAA Class 3A singles finals and second in doubles competition.

Personal: Born in Tampa, Fla…Son of Lynn and Scott Henderson…Majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in English…Lists the Tampa Bay Lightning winning the Stanley Cup as favorite sports moment…Likes to watch college football and hockey…Favorite movie is Invincible…Wants to be a US Marshal…Chose FGCU because it was a school in Florida that was not too far away from home and it has a beautiful campus.
