As A Junior (2013-14)  | A-Sun All-Conference Teams
Named to the Atlantic Sun Conference First Team … finished the season with an overall singles record of 9-12 which included a 5-3 mark in A-Sun play … went 7-11 playing No. 2 singles and 2-1 playing the third position … claimed one win over a ranked opponent upsetting No. 124 Diego Nunez (ETSU) in straight sets … posted the match-clinching point after a three-set thriller to give FGCU its first-ever win over conference-rival Stetson … partnered with Lance Lvovsky to post a 10-8 record playing No. 2 doubles with a 4-3 mark in the conference … in the last three contests of the season Bao and Lvovsky clinched the doubles point for FGCU after wins in matches that had extended into tiebreakers  … In the fall Bao partnered with Jordi Vives to win the doubles title at the FGCU Fall Invite.

As A Sophomore (2012-13)
Named to Atlantic Sun Conference second team ... overall singles record of 13-8 which included a 6-2 mark in the A-Sun … among all A-Sun players, posted the 7th-best winning percentage in No. 2 singles action (8-6, .571) … 3rd in conference-only leaders for No. 2 singles (3-2, .600) … overall doubles record of 10-11 which included a 6-2 record in the A-Sun … among all A-Sun players, posted the 8th-best winning percentage in all doubles (4-2, .667) … he also posted the 6th-best No. 2 doubles record in the A-Sun with a record of 3-3 (.500) … in the No. 2 and No. 3 positions he finished the year by winning five straight matches from Mar. 14- 29 and won seven of his last nine matches overall. 

As A Freshman (2011-12) | A-Sun All-Conference Teams
Named Atlantic Sun Freshman of the Year … selected to the A-Sun Conference All-Freshmen team … finished a strong freshman campaign with a 8-9 dual match record, including a 4-5 A-Sun mark playing at No. 1 singles … had a 6-7 record at No. 1 singles … defeated two ranked opponents in No. 83 Ivan Turudic (Penn) and No. 113 Maksim Levanovich (Stetson) who was undefeated in conference at the time … picked up three wins in the fall against Chris Janssen (FAU), Max De Juan (Southern Miss.) and Mike Nott (Arkansas) … took down four conference opponents at No. 1 singles in Alex Toliver (Kennesaw State), Jose Fantova (Jacksonville), Renato Antun (Belmont) and Levanovich … helped the Eagles clinch their first-ever A-Sun tournament berth with a win over Belmont’s Antun … in doubles action, paired with Michael Beiler and Jackson Moore to hold a 7-9 doubles record … partnering with Beiler, defeated four conference opponents in Leonardo Nahar and Pedro Davisson (UNF) at No. 3 doubles, Eimon Heywood and Matt Hansen (Jacksonville) at No. 3 doubles, Colby Shaw and David Salazar (Lipscomb) and Fernando Mussolini and Bruno Silva (Belmont).

High School
Competed at Bayshore High School ... accumulated a 16-1 singles record during his sophomore season en route to a Class 3-A District 11 singles and doubles championship and a Class 3-A State Championship semifinals appearance … junior campaign featured a 21-1 singles record, a championship in Class 2-A District 9 singles and doubles, and a Class 2-A state singles and doubles runner-up finish.
