The Atlantic Sun regular season schedule comes to a close this weekend, as the FGCU baseball team wraps up the league slate with a trip to DeLand, Fla. to face Stetson for a three-game set. Battling for one of the six spots in the A-Sun postseason tournament, the Eagles open the series with a 6:30 p.m. start on Thursday evening at Melching Field at Conrad Park.

After getting through three full innings, the FGCU baseball team's final non-conference game at No. 21 Miami on Tuesday night was cancelled due to lightning and rain in the area. The game was the deciding contest in the season series between the two clubs that is tied at 1-1.

Staying in-state for its first-ever Division I NCAA Softball Championship appearance, the FGCU softball team (37-22) is set to travel to the Gainesville Regional on Friday, May 18 to face the fifth-seeded host Florida Gators (46-11). Tickets for the contests at the Katie Seashole Pressly Softball Stadium are now available.

With the regular season slate quickly coming to a close, the FGCU baseball team is set to travel to Coral Gables, Fla. on Tuesday for its final non-conference contest against No. 21 Miami. The Eagles and Hurricanes are scheduled for a 6 p.m. first pitch at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field.

One day after capturing their first-ever Atlantic Sun Conference Championship, the FGCU softball team (37-22, 14-4 A-Sun) learned of its regional destination Sunday during its watch party at the Beef O’ Brady’s Restaurant in Estero, Fla. FGCU will face fifth-seeded Florida on Friday in the Gainesville Regional at 6 p.m.
