Tonight's FGCU baseball (24-14, 9-3 Atlantic Sun) game at Swanson Stadium vs. North Florida (16-21, 6-9 A-Sun) has been postponed until tomorrow at 11 a.m. due to inclement weather. Should the weather remain clear following the 11 a.m. game, a second will be played in order to put the three-game series set to conclude on Saturday back on schedule.

MACON, Ga. -- On the eve of the 2014 Atlantic Sun Conference Championship Tournament, the FGCU sand volleyball team earned two positions on the Academic All-Conference team. Senior Karina Mambuca and junior Whitney Masters each received the accolade, which is voted on by the league’s sports information directors.

ESTERO, Fla. -- Entering competition as the no. 5 seed, the FGCU sand volleyball team will compete in and host the 2014 Atlantic Sun Conference Sand Volleyball Tournament Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19 at the Estero Community Park. The Eagles welcome the league’s four other teams for the two-day event.

Just one day before the FGCU men’s tennis team makes its debut as a program-best No. 3 seed in this weekend’s Atlantic Sun Championship, juniors Jordi Vives and Tianyu Bao earned a quartet of postseason honors with Vives (Barcelona, Spain/IES Ferran Tallada/USC) named Player of the Year, to the All-Conference First Team and the Academic All-Conference squad, and Bao (Tianjin, China/Bayshore HS) to the All-Conference First Team.

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. -- Despite grueling weather conditions at the Jekyll Island Golf Club, the FGCU women's golf team finished strong and compiled its best score of the 2014 Atlantic Sun Championship to earn fourth place in the event. The Eagles concluded the tournament with team scores of 314 in the second round and 299 in the third round to finish tied for fourth in the field of 10 teams.
