FORT MYERS, Fla. - FGCU Athletics has announced new partial season ticket plans that are now available to fans for the 2009-10 basketball season - a move that director of athletics Ken Kavanagh hopes will help increase attendance at Alico Arena.
"This is just us partnering with the fans, trying to be responsive to those seeking more options to come see FGCU Basketball,'' Kavanagh said.
Fans can now buy a five-game “Eagle Pack”. The men’s basketball “Eagle Pack” consists of single games against FIU (December 12), DePaul (December 22) and Jacksonville (January 10), as well as two doubleheaders with the women versus A-Sun foes Campbell (February 6) and Belmont (February 20). The women’s basketball pack includes single games against Bethune-Cookman (December 29), North Florida (January 7), and Mercer (January 23), as well as the aforementioned doubleheaders with Campbell (February 6), and Belmont (February 20). Each “Eagle Pack” would cost $80 for Priority 1 seats, $60 for Priority 2, and $40 for Priority 3 seating – a twenty-percent discount off regular prices.
