FORT MYERS, Fla. – Just a week after being introduced as the second men’s basketball head coach in FGCU history, Andy Enfield threw prior to the Eagles’ baseball game against ACC foe Miami in front of 2,744 fans at Hammond Stadium.

Enfield, who helped lead FSU to the last three NCAA Tournaments, including the Sweet 16 last week, will lead FGCU into its 10th season in program history and its first postseason eligible campaign. The Eagles return seven players that averaged at least five points per game, including A-Sun All-Conference second team selection Anthony Banks (Lantana, Fla./Santaluces HS) and All-Freshmen team choice Christophe Varidel (Versoix, Switzerland/Worcester Academy).

Season tickets for the 2011-12 campaign can be purchased in person at the Alico Arena ticket office or by phone at 239-590-7145. The FGCU ticket office is open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday.
