FORT MYERS, Fla. – Winners of three-straight regular season and back-to-back tournament A-Sun titles, head coach Jim Blankenship, the 2012 Atlantic Sun Conference Coach of the Year, and the FGCU women’s soccer staff announced the dates for their annual Elite Soccer Camp for the summer 2013.
The Junior Elite Camp for ages 10-13 will be June 10-13 while the Day camp for ages 6-14 will take place June 10-14. The Elite Camp will take place on July 18-21 and are for ages 14-18. Both the Junior Elite and the Elite Camps also offers the opportunity for players to stay overnight and experience life on campus. All three camps are open to commuters as well.
FGCU is the three-time defending A-Sun regular season champions and has won back-to-back A-Sun Tournament titles resulting in NCAA Tournament appearances in its first two years of eligibility. FGCU went 14-4-3 in 2012 and are now 71-29-13 in six seasons under Blankenship. Over its current three-year run as A-Sun regular season champs FGCU has posted an impressive 24-2-4 record in league play.
All three camps are currently accepting applications. A $100 non-refundable deposit as well as a medical release must accompany the application. The remaining balance is due before the first day of camp. Mail all three to:

Check can be made out to Blankenship Elite Soccer. Prices are as follows: Elite Camp and Jr. Elite Camp are $525 for Overnight Campers and $425 for Day Campers. The Day camp is $225 for a Full-Day Campers (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) and $100 for a Half-Day Campers (9 a.m. – 11 a.m.). Teams or groups of 11 or more who send in their applications and deposits together are eligible for a $25 discount per camper. FGCU employees are eligible for a $25 discount and siblings will receive $10 per camper discount (only one discount per camper).
